A passionate and creative filmmaker
My name is Daniel Vossen, and I’m a screenwriter, director and editor. I love bringing creative ideas to life and enjoy working on a wide variety of projects. I thrive on challenges and seek out situations that help me grow both artistically and personally.
Ever since my parents brought home a video camera, my passion for filmmaking has grown steadily. From my early experiments with stop-motion films using toys as a child to producing high quality feature films with international casts – every step has deepened my love for storytelling.
When the camera eventually disappeared from my life, I turned to another creative outlet: writing. I started with short stories, explored the world of theater, and eventually found my true calling in screenwriting. Along this journey, I have continuously expanded my cinematic knowledge by studying films from every era and corner of the globe.
After completing my education and purchasing my first professional camera, I founded my own company under the name ‘Eight Elements Films and produced my first feature film: JERRY COEL.
This project was not only a major artistic milestone but also a springboard for future endeavors. Alongside narrative films, I began creating music videos and documenting events -discovering that my creative work could also serve as a tailored service for clients.
In 2022, to avoid name confusion, I rebranded my company as ‘Daniel Vossen Filmproductions’. My feature film JERRY COEL received international recognition at several renowned film festivals, paving the way for my next project: NO TIME TO THINK. A sequel is already in development.
For me, filmmaking is more than just a profession – it’s a calling. The exchange of ideas and visions with clients and collaborators inspires me just as much as the challenge of making each project truly unique.
