The gallery began its journey on March 8, 1990, with the intention of promoting art in all its forms. Painting, sculpture, and music have been the driving force behind the daily work of this family business.
In the early 1990s, the Aparicio family embarked on this artistic path, exhibiting top-tier shows featuring national and international artists. The married couple, business owners Ángel Aparicio and Rosario Mota, were committed from the outset to a project that is now Galería Era. Antonio Mota, a sculptor and their son, assumed the management of the gallery from its inception, passing the torch in 2019 to Antonio Aparicio, the current director.
