Following success on the global festival circuit and over 70 awards for his short films Censure and Confines, Emmy-nominated director Richard Bazley is set to release his next cinematic project: the feature film Bambola. Bazley has started a crowdfunding campaign to bring this project to life, offering film enthusiasts a chance to participate.
Bazley, a filmmaker with a background in animation at Disney, compares filmmaking to fine winemaking, stressing the importance of development and allowing stories to evolve. Bazley, with long term collaborator Screenwriter Neil Bason, dedicated the past two years to refining the script for Bambola, emphasizing the significance of development. Bambola represents a natural progression for Bazley and his team, who are confident in the success of this feature-length film. Bazley’s previous films, Censure and Confines, which were recognized and screened at Cannes, Espace Miramar, The Producers Club in New York, and The Fine Arts Theatre in Reverly Hills, are available for online streaming.
